pub struct ScanFacets {
pub faces: u32,
pub face_normal: [f64; 3],
pub apothem: f64,
}Expand description
The faces of a polygonal (prism) column: a regular polygon of faces
sides about the cylinder’s axis, radius being its circumradius (axis to
corner).
Fields§
§faces: u32Number of sides of the whole polygon (6 or more), seen or not.
face_normal: [f64; 3]Unit outward normal of one face, perpendicular to the axis; the others
follow at multiples of 360 / faces degrees about the axis. Of the
equivalent choices, the one nearest the first in-plane basis direction
(see the guide) is reported, so it is deterministic.
apothem: f64Distance from the axis to each face (inradius).
