Expand description
Optional analytic descriptions of authored geometry, keyed by product occurrence. This walks the same body-representation selection as the mesh router, but does not produce meshes. Source operands of booleans are identified as such.
Structs§
- Analytic
Quantity Sources - Three analytic source views from one bounded representation walk. This is useful for quantity joins that need exact swept-disk world directrices and reusable disk/extrusion definitions with matching occurrence ordinals.
- Analytic
Source Key - Stable within and across reads of the same IFC bytes.
- Directrix
Metrics - Measurements of a complete occurrence directrix in absolute IFC world space.
- Directrix
Segment Metrics - Per-segment measurements in metres and radians, in directrix order.
- Extrusion
Definition - One authored extrusion before product or representation-map placement.
sourceretains raw IFC file units and separate profile/solid positions. - Extrusion
Definitions - Bounded exact source/occurrence view; never substitutes tessellated loops.
- Extrusion
Nominal Quantities - Nominal source-solid quantities in raw IFC file-length units. A product’s occurrence transform, openings, and other boolean operations are excluded.
- Swept
Disk Check Error - A caller-supplied tolerance is invalid.
- Swept
Disk Check Finding - One measured source-geometry finding.
next_segment_indexidentifies the second side of a join and is absent for a finding on one segment. - Swept
Disk Check Options - Tolerances in world metres and radians. All must be finite and nonnegative.
- Swept
Disk Check Report - Diagnostic report for the authored source before any enclosing CSG change.
- Swept
Disk Definition - Original
IfcSweptDiskSolidgeometry in IFC file length units. - Swept
Disk Definitions - Bounded source/instance view of authored swept disks.
- Swept
Disk Descriptions - Analytic swept disks in IFC Z-up, absolute-world metres.
- Swept
Disk Instance - One use of a source solid. Matrix is column-major f64 and maps raw IFC source coordinates directly to absolute IFC Z-up world metres. It includes model length units, object placement and every enclosing mapping transform.
- Swept
Disk Nominal Quantities - Derived measurements in square and cubic metres for one uncut source solid. The volume and lateral areas are section × centreline estimates; they do not account for self-overlap, mitred joins, or later boolean operations.
- Swept
Disk Occurrence - One authored
IfcSweptDiskSolidin an occurrence’s body representation.
Enums§
- Analytic
Source Context - A context is a top-level representation for a direct solid, or the ordered
IfcRepresentationMapIDs for a mapped solid. MappingTarget IDs are excluded so occurrences of one map share their source definition. - Swept
Disk Finding Code - Stable machine-readable source-geometry finding codes.
Functions§
- check_
swept_ disk - Check an extracted world-space swept disk without decoding or tessellation. Findings concern source geometry only; they do not certify a bar for cutting, bending, material, or building-code compliance.
- extract_
analytic_ quantity_ sources - Extract all quantity source views in one canonical walk. Existing individual APIs keep their output and budget contracts unchanged.
- extract_
extrusion_ definitions - Opt-in exact source/instance view of
IfcExtrudedAreaSolidoccurrences. Source profiles and depths retain IFC file units; each f64 occurrence matrix maps solid-local source coordinates to absolute IFC Z-up metres. - extract_
swept_ disk_ definitions - Opt-in source/instance view. Definitions stay in raw IFC file units; occurrence matrices map those raw coordinates into absolute IFC Z-up metres.
- extract_
swept_ disk_ descriptions - Extract exact swept-disk definitions for product occurrences, optionally
restricted to a set of product STEP IDs. An empty set returns no products.
Unsupported directrices are reported in each record’s
status; malformed representation walks are reported indiagnosticsand omitted atomically for the affected product. - extract_
swept_ disk_ views - Return both world descriptions and reusable raw source definitions in one bounded representation walk. Both views share the same decoded source cache.
- extrusion_
nominal_ quantities - Derive source quantities only when the profile and extrusion are complete.
The projected height accounts for an oblique
ExtrudedDirection: IFC Depth measures along that unit direction, rather than along the profile normal.
Type Aliases§
- Extrusion
Instance - A use of an extrusion source.
world_from_sourcemaps its solid-local raw coordinates to absolute IFC Z-up metres. Apply the source’s profile and solid Position matrices before this matrix for a profile boundary point. - Swept
Disk Source Context - Compatible name for source contexts returned by swept-disk APIs.
- Swept
Disk Source Key - Compatible name for source keys returned by swept-disk APIs.
